When I gave birth to my children

What is your earliest memory?
My earliest memories were of the happy days during childhood I spent in Elephant Road where I used to live

What is your greatest fear?
Rats

Who do you most admire and why?
My parents because they have instilled in me the values of honesty, humanity, generosity and integrity

What’s the trait you most deplore in yourself?
My tendency to depend on others too much for advice before taking any decision, particularly my mother

What’s the trait you most deplore in others?
Dishonesty and hypocrisy

What is your most treasured possession?
My children and my character

What makes you feel depressed?
When reminiscing the moments of the deaths of my third child and my father

What is your most unappealing habit?
None

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Life is easy if you stay glued to your ideals and goals and if you have integrity

Who would you like to invite to your dream dinner party?
Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle

What is your favourite word?
Allah

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Practically everything about my appearance but still I am happy

Where would you most like to be right now?
Either Chittagong (where my in-laws live) or in England (where my sister lives)
