Bangladeshi cultural show in UAE

Bangladeshi singers Shaheen Samad, Kiran Chandra Roy, Aditi Mohsin, Rumana Islam and a group of dancers staged a cultural programme at the National Theatre Auditorium in Abu Dhabi yesterday evening. A preview of arts of leading Bangladeshi artists was also arranged simultaneously at the venue to project Bangladeshi culture. The event was extensively covered in the print and electronic media in the UAE.

State Minister for Energy, Power and Mineral Resources Brig Gen (retd) Enamul Haque was present at the programme as chief guest. He underscored in his address that the present government has been giving much emphasis to project traditional Bangladeshi culture abroad and as part of that policy the Ministry of Culture has sent the delegation to the UAE.

“Since my joining the Embassy, it has been my mission to organise such cultural events in the UAE and today I’m elated that we are holding a two day programme,” the Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Md. Nazmul Quaunine said in his address.
