Bijoy Dibosh celebrations in Rangpur

Different organisations in Rangpur held cultural programmes in observance of the 38th Victory day.
Begum Rokeya University students held a programme at the university campus in the afternoon on December 16. The event was followed by a discussion with the vice-chancellor Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil present.
Students of the newly set-up public university rendered patriotic songs, recited poems and danced.
Sammilito Sangskritik Jote’s Rangpur unit held a cultural programme at Rangpur Central Shaheed Minar on December 17 evening in observance of the victory day.
Cultural organisations like Udichi Shilpi Goshthi, Shankhochil Samajik and Sangskritik Paribar, Bihango and Sarothi Natya Samproday staged performances on the occasion. Lawmaker and noted freedom fighter Tipu Munshi was the chief guest at the cultural programme organised by SSJ.
