Live concert and football screening

Music and football fans are in for a real treat. For the breathtaking match on July 12 which starts after midnight, Goethe-Institut Bangladesh and the Embassy of Switzerland are presenting “The ParthiboLife in concert”, says a press release. The programme features a live musical performance by Parthibo, one of Bangladesh ’s upcoming rock bands.

Along with original numbers, the band has readied a range of popular numbers from Soft Rock, Funk, Rock and Party music and will sing songs related to football and the World Cup, guaranteed to keep the crowd roaring all night long till the final match of World Cup 2010 commences.

The venue: The Auditorium at Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, House 10, Road 9 (new), Dhanmondi R/A, Dhaka.
