Tushar Dutta’s solo classical performance

Tushar Dutta, born in Natore in Bangladesh, is a renowned ex-scholar of ITC Sangeet Research Academy and a popular young vocalist from Kolkata. He has already proved his enormous talent in the field of Indian Classical Music.
Tushar started his musical career as a classical singer and acclaimed appreciation from every corner. He started learning the fundamentals of Indian Classical Music from Pandit Bimal Mitra of Durgapur at an early stage. Later he came under the tutelage of Pandit A Kanan, Pandit Arun Bhadury and Pandit Sunil Bose as a scholar of Sangeet Research Academy. Later Tushar became a ganabandha shagird of late Pandit KG Ginge. He has performed in various programmes organized by ITC - SRA and other organization in many parts of India, USA, Canada, England, Germany, UAE, Oman, Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Bangladesh.
Tushar Dutta performed in a solo musical soiree at Bengal Shilpalaya at Dhanmondi in the city on Monday night. In his performance, Tushar presented ‘thungri’ including raga Bageshree. He was accompanied by Gautam Sarkar in tabla, Bijon Chandra Mistri in harmonium and Jagadananda Roy and Alok Sen in tanpura in the musical session.
