Weeklong cultural competition at Mymensingh Girls Cadet College

Mymensingh Girls Cadet College swept an all-out victory at this year’s Inter Cadet College Competition. The weeklong programme, titled ’21st Inter Cadet College Literary and Music Meet’ ended on August 18 at the Birsherstha Mostafa Auditorium of Mymensingh Girls Cadet College.
Major General AKM Mujahid, president of Cadet College Governing Body and also the adjutant general, attended the concluding ceremony as chief guest.
The weeklong competition included cultural performances by students of 12 Cadet Colleges of the country.
Competitions were held on Kerat (recitation from the Holy Quran); recitation of English and Bengali poetry; acting; folk, Tagore, Nazrul, modern, classical and patriotic songs; painting and general information.
Among others, principals of all the Cadet Colleges were present at the concluding ceremony. Later the chief guest handed prizes among the winners.
