New album Swapno Golpo by Fahmida Nabi released

New solo album of singer Fahmida Nabi titled ‘Swapno Golpo’ was launched under the banner of Laser Vision. This album “Shwopno Galpa” is Fahmida Nabi’s first album in almost one and a half years. This album contains eight songs. The numbers include Shapno Galpo, Rajkumer, Naa- Naa- Naa, Ghum Nai, Shatar and Abhimani Chand.

When asked Fahmida Nabi about the specialty of her new CD she informed, “This CD is mainly based on romantic songs that get new dimension with improvising classical tone. Basically it is a kind of experimental work that is aimed to give new flavor to the audiences.” She also added, “The lyrics of this CD portrays the deep realization of human life.” Fahmida Nabi, said that she worked very hard for this CD.

Among the songs, one song, title “Abhimani Chand” has been dedicated to the late prominent writer Humayan Azad. “By dedicating this song we tried to pay our respect to this powerful writer”, she added.

Noted filmmakers and directors Tareque Masud and Catharine Masud unveiled cover of the album. Actor Monir Khan Shimul, Chairman of Laser Vision Arifur Rahman and Managing Director Mazharul Islam, two lyricists Golam Morshed and Ahsan Kabir were also present while unveiling the album.
